Fabi Silvestri Gazzè Il Padrone della Festa
Voto:
I should start by saying that I speak as a fan of Gazzè, or at least as someone familiar with all his albums. I know much less about Silvestri, and only the little Fabi that I've heard on the radio. I've listened to the album a couple of times on streaming and clearly I find the moments where Gazzè's writing stands out (Come mi pare) to be the best. Silvestri is a skilled weaver of words and certainly compensates for the shortcomings of the former, who is a composer of pure music. Fabi adds that tone of delicacy that is his own, but frankly, it seems more like a background element than an added value. Just a note on the fact that the shared experience has revitalized, rather than exhausted, the inspiration at least for Gazzè and Silvestri, who have quickly released a new album. Well-written review and particularly original in its approach.

The initial smudges and a few here and there almost prevented me from giving due credit to this heartfelt and passionate review. The video of Innuendo was for me like the illumination of Saint Paul on the road to Damascus.

I still don't feel ready to give a rating to this unsettling final work by Bowie. But the review is beautiful and original, as it is centered around the aesthetics of the two videos filmed by the now dying artist.
Frank Zappa Dance Me This

I’ll start by saying that I don’t have any Zappa records and what I know I’ve listened to on YouTube. Therefore, I kindly ask the reviewer, whose rare expertise I admire, to recommend two or three albums from his vast discography. Thank you!

the album is a requiem, beautiful and dark, a review with some ideas and quite confused
Leonardo Pieraccioni Finalmente la felicità
Voto:
Salvo Il Ciclone and partially Fuochi d'artificio. Pieraccioni belongs to the select group of Tuscan one-man shows whose success and talent I have never understood.
Jamiroquai Deeper Underground
Voto:
Jamiroquai's latest album is a blast. When he released this track, he had just begun his decline. The review is trivial.

I'm not one for obituaries, but Bowie’s death is a landmark event for music. I’ll just point out how the timing and themes of his last album and final video are a courageous testament to a life devoted to art, which was coming to an end.

Beautiful review, after the beautiful and unexpected The Next Day, the Duke surprises again. I have to listen to it.
