Lucio Battisti Hegel

if the melody and music become complex, then the lyrics must somehow adapt... Battisti was the only one to do it fully, at least in Italy. Perhaps it was also right that with HEGEL the collaboration with Panella (with that Panella) came to an end, but that does not diminish the fact that the experience of the white albums will remain there, as an enduring memory of what a genius managed to accomplish and how superficial and narrow-minded a music market can be that failed to appreciate him.

I may risk repeating myself... but it seems that everyone has their own peculiar idea of what a review is... and then there are those who resort to pulp writing to talk about an album... bah, and why write on DeBaser if there are specific sites for these literary genres?
Lucio Battisti Il mio canto libero

great review for a wonderful album!
The Velvet Underground The Velvet Underground and Nico
Voto:
the album is overrated, I give the reviewer a 5, especially for the effort, which certainly isn't plentiful among the supposed reviewers on DeBaser
AC/DC Back In Blak

a review whose passion was almost overwhelming...
Ludovico Einaudi Le Onde

On a review site, reviews should be written, according to the dictionary: a critical examination of a recent publication noting its merits and flaws.
Vasco Rossi Buoni o Cattivi

I've been hanging around this site for a while... but it seems to me that if similar nonsense keeps getting posted, in a year it will be a portal full of crap rather than reviews.

I believe that in order to review an album, you must first listen to it, and I think this is always done. Secondly, you need to read a good number of reviews, otherwise you run the risk of falling into banality and superficial comments among friends... After all, on Debaser, there will be a billion reviews available, but how many of these will be useful for someone wanting to capture a hidden aspect of an album? How many of these reviews will aid in the purchase of an album? How many of these reviews will benefit music in general?... This obviously applies to all those who do not put in the right effort, and not to the reviewer of this particular album.
Pink Floyd The Wall

two critiques of the review: 1) starting with young lust, hmmm, not a great choice, after all it's the most Gilmour-esque piece of the album 2) it seems more like an attempt at a review of the film... about the album, what can I say? it's one of those works that if it didn't exist, it would need to be invented!
Pink Floyd A Momentary Lapse Of Reason

Any other group on the planet that had produced an album like AMLOR would have earned everlasting glory... only it's the PF, only it was composed by a certain Waters, only it was the comeback album, a bit of a comeback and a bit of a pandering, let's face it: and so the album is crap, by definition. Instead, it’s a really good album, not a masterpiece for sure, but labeling it as trash means, forgive my expression, listening with your ass.
