"an acoustic continuum"? I only know Steve Coleman's very early works, with the then very young Cassandra Wilson. They played a funky, electric jazz that was highly syncopated. I saw them live 20 years ago and they were just as amazing. It seems to me that he is now doing entirely different music. P.S.: could you provide a link to a nice bed & breakfast or agritourism?
