Bauhaus In The Flat Field

The Bauhaus! You already cover a gap, nice review. I had this album on vinyl until I lent it out, sigh!!! (There were four of us in high school listening to this music...)

Don't you like Personal Jesus??? Oh, maybe you didn't like it. One of my favorites, whoever plays it: from Cash to Manson... it's always good! (just for that slow, bluesy vibe)

Yes, Kosima, you said it well... what beautiful Equaliser(*****) and Rebel Waltz, with those super long intros! And didn't anyone mention Charlie Don't Surf? From the movie Apocalypse Now! You mentioned the violin in Lose This Skin... but what about the xylophone that duets with the guitar in Washington Bullets, where do you leave that? "sandinista...sandinista..." and then the nocturne Broadway, the funky Lighting Strikes, the ridiculous Junkie Slip... that's enough, I'll stop: MY ALL TIME FAVORITE!! I confirm: from a desert island!

What nostalgia... how much I loved this group, and especially Sandinista! The album is a bit sprawling, but what variety... London Calling is perhaps more "perfect," also because the tracks were rehearsed much more before entering the recording studio; for Sandinista, however, they had almost nothing ready: they went into the studio and improvised all this stuff: a masterpiece!
