...other times, when I feel even more xtreme, I go for Strawberry&Chocolate! PS: yeah, the food here is awful, how can you compete with Sicily; however, my trusted ice cream maker doesn't add "powders" to the ice cream! (a synthetic judgment in hindsight!)

STORY FOR THE LITTLE ONES: it was the early seventies and I, then living in Rome and still a child, was walking with my grandmother and mother through the central streets of Rome... at one point, grandma said: "Look, grandchild, there she is: it's 'la cicciolina'!" "LA CICCIOLINAAA?" Without knowing why, I dashed off in pursuit, oblivious to my mother's cries... It took quite a while before they managed to find me; it was probably the first time I had run away from my mom… who yelled at me and grandma all the way home... And I didn’t understand: here I was, seeing an angel in FLESH and blood... and there the grown-ups were getting angry and starting to argue. I have never forgotten the image of that angel dressed in just a few veils! Thank you, grandma!
