Be caz stay blitz, I liked it! Over 100 comments in just one day is a record! But if you want to raise the average, I could give a little "help"!

I completely agree with Nick's comment: for me too, it's THE MOST important album in rock history (and for me personally: I started listening to rock thanks to this album).
P.S.: the DVD mentioned by Mauri is very nice, and the 25th anniversary edition of London Calling is great, with an accompanying DVD and CD of the vanilla tapes.
Great review, you went into detail describing the tracks, but how can we forget Train In Vain? (even back then the song was included after the cover had already been printed, which is why the title is missing).

Beautiful review, Mr. S.C. I take the liberty of exchanging the link you provided with the one from Tzadik, where you can find information on all the CDs from Zorn's 50 years.

true shit! But in Fran Zappa there was also a lot of (self) irony, while Miles took himself much more seriously.
So they are two completely different types: in front of Miles, one entered in a state of almost religious reverence/devotion, while Zappa would even make you smile. PS I’ve seen him twice too, hehe, the first time with the Turk in the first year of high school: that’s where our friendship began! ;-)
