Matteo, you know you’re really starting to get on my nerves? I'm not speaking on behalf of anyone else, just to be clear, I’m talking for myself. Yes, you’ve gotten on my balls. Write fewer reviews and focus more on the quality of each single review. Quantity and quality are not exactly the same thing, you know? Three lines written in the style of a brain-dead person annoy me. Come on, I’m sure you can do much better. I don't give a fuck about reviews like that!

he he he... when I thought about that concept, the Strokes also came to mind in support of my thesis... NGW, how dare you say that "White Light/White Heat" is bad? What the hell!... I can barely hold myself back when I hear certain things. Let me remind you of a few titles; besides the title track, we have "the gift," "here she comes now," "lady godiva's operation"... If you don't like them, it means you don't like the VU, not the album... As for the second Clash album, I can somewhat understand your denial, and indeed "GIVE 'EM ENOUGH ROPE" is the only one I don't have in its original form: it's the exception that proves the rule. Moreover, that album from 1978 has the merit of being the launching pad for "London Calling" the following year.

Hira, I read the ad in the de-meeting. If you can't make it to the lambruscata, I’m a little sorry. I, the bassist, and a "guy from my entourage," a certain Jack, will be there. To meet inside? I'll send you a private msg with my cell number?

The Joshua Tree is the best album by U2. Together with Achtung Baby. Frantz, I don't think U2 can be considered "the greatest band of all time," regardless of The Edge's hypothetical skill, while I agree with your reasoning. However, and this is verifiable, it often happens that many bands by their fourth or fifth album lose a bit of sparkle, of verve, of creative boldness and settle down to reap the rewards of their previous efforts, the fame and respect they've earned from their fans and the entire music industry. In reality, I consider "the sophomore album test" to be a much more reliable indicator compared to the popular belief that bands should break up after three albums. Take note: the greats never "miss" the second album (think about it, I can come up with hundreds of examples) while the mediocre struggle to shake off the imprint of the first album to create a second work that lives up to the previous one. Indeed, all those MTV Style groups manage to put out a record with decent success, only to fade back into the oblivion of general indifference.

"...and let the Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin go to hell..." In this sentence, there's all your thought. Agreeable? I don't know, I don't think so.

I didn't feel like I had been arrogant. Or maybe I had? Serious, yes, always serious.

apapaia, I believe one can win a war in pairs, or perhaps even alone. Have you read what I wrote about "17 kings"? Do you only read the sentences that interest you, rationally ignoring those you can't use for your own purposes? You don't take away my fear of ghosts, you know?

Ugh... we all ask for freedom of the press and freedom of speech even though no one realizes that too often there’s nothing to say and nothing worth publishing. I know full well that you won't pay attention to this phrase of mine: "who listens to the song of the brook when the storm speaks? - Gibran -"
