Ah, now I remember where I read "arena Rock": “...Mediocre in terms of belonging to a rock subgenre, that of arena rock, which from the hard rock of Queen and Meat Loaf to pop influences has proven to be one of the most petty of all subgenres.” On wave rock, you know? Are you glad I quoted it? Good, now relax, take a deep breath and go fuck yourself...

"I Queen rode two 70s trends: hard rock and glam rock. They did it with little originality (it's hard to find a band less original and less technically skilled) but with enormous public success. Scaruffi (one of the few things I agree with)."

The idiot must believe Bulsara or Bertoncelli_Gugliemi_Rizzi, authors of the encyclopedia? What an idiot I am to trust the printed word. And if I’ve assimilated some quotes and made them my own, excuse me, but if I had to account for every thought I’ve stored and that I now consider personal (since I share it), given that I read many magazines, I would need a database just for the journalists, critics, and writers I’ve read and appreciated. But so be it.

In fact, from the "Rock Encyclopedia - ed. Giunti - p. 665": 1974, to leverage the success of the first LP, the band assembles II (n.5 gb) with material discarded from the early sessions of I, and the result is more than decent." I don't agree with the decent part. But it is what it is.

Well, I doubt the necessity of listening to this album. Much better to grab "Unknown Pleasures" and "Closer," and perhaps even the double album of unreleased tracks "Still." Yes, I wouldn't feel the need for this anthology collection. The true need I feel is to cry every time I listen to "Love Will Tear Us Apart." Unknown and Closer, nothing beats those collections! Ian Curtis, a genius worn down by epilepsy. What a loss!

Did you see them in Bergamo - Zingonia - Motion unlimited, in October 2003??? I was there! I talked to them and they are really nice (except for Vernon Reid who is quite full of himself) and they told me they would be back in March for an Italian tour. Will you go? What dates are you planning?

How many ellipses even in the reviewer section! :D. Anyway, compliments on the albums mentioned, I agree, I agree a lot. One note: the Living Colour album is called Collide0scope, not Callideoscope, so (sorry, that is) you made two little mistakes. The first is the "a" instead of "o" at the beginning, and the second is the "o" instead of the central "0" (zero). I love Living Colour, we (me and Oki) like them. We like them a lot! :)
