Well, I don't remember saying (after listening) that it was a good album. Can you link me to the page? I don't think I've ultimately changed my mind, even though Absolution is slightly better than OOS, which remains unlistenable for me. To be fair, I expressed a prediction about Absolution before it came out, not very convinced, in which I asked for a change in production and more time available for the band. If they had O'Rourke and two more years, they would do great things, but marketing has unmovable deadlines.
