I didn't talk about the musical and artistic value of grunge (nor punk), but about the historical fact of both: I didn't say that grunge is beautiful, but that it was well experienced; it brought many young people back to music while it was in decline. Whether you like punk or grunge or not is your business; I won’t intrude on that. But the important chronicle fact is the awakening that these two movements brought to music. P.S. Of the groups you mentioned, I know maybe one!
The Cinematic Orchestra Live set - Milano, Alcatraz 17.11.02

Given that I have never seen a live performance by Cinematic and that Motion is truly a beautiful album, studying the construction of their songs, I would initially say (and being in the realm of hypotheses, I inherently include uncertainty and error) that their sound may not be particularly suited for live execution. Now, since you attended the performance and appreciated it, I would ask if you could give me a point of comparison to help me form an idea. For example: I don’t know if you’ve ever seen Tricky live; he performs well live: are we on the same level?
