Alright, a nod to the ironic sense. Great album that deserves to be listened to in full at least once every two months. I even stayed up late to listen to it...

Coffee, I don’t want to continue further in this pointless dispute. I firmly stand by my statements. My "buffoon" is the chronological response to your "idiot," as the page demonstrates. I do not intend to fuel an unproductive argument any longer. If you know about the technique, then you know I’m right. Otherwise, you’re bluffing...

And then, before you call me an idiot, show me that you have a broader and deeper musical culture than mine... if you can... write a review yourself... then I’ll give you my critiques, and let’s see if you survive... clown...

I've listened to Origin of Symmetry about ten times because I was in disbelief: I wondered how a band capable of producing decent music could sell themselves out like that? Did they want to take advantage of the momentum from Showbiz and rush the release of Origin? Are they whores too! Origin is predictable, banal, popular, easy-listening, in one word: horrible! HORRIBLE!

Look, you've contradicted yourself: you ask me to be as objective as possible, and then you tell me that if I don't like something, I shouldn't review it... it's one or the other: either be objective (which means reviewing things you don't like as well) or be subjective and only review things you like! Ultimately, I reiterate my judgment, which you've omitted to fully grasp, fixating on my observations that contrast with this group, which I assume is one of your favorites: I honestly believe that Showbiz's music deserves to be listened to (and a bit more than just being listened to), while Origin is simply a bad album... nothing more, nothing less. How can you say that Bellamy has technique? Don't you understand a thing about technique? How can you say he's good at playing the piano? Because of a miserable overdub in "Sunburn"? Come on, if you want, I can write you a list of people with instrumental technique! Reiterating my historical aversion to dividing music by genres, I try to justify my choice for Noise-Rock: I was actually decided to pair it with Pop, but out of respect for the trio, I didn't want to undermine their capabilities. I chose noise for the carpet of distorted sounds, feedback, and screams, the background noise of their harder songs, while the ballads are truly rock: noise + rock... or not?

When I say "poorly produced," I mean that the production resulted in a chart-topping work at the expense of the album's "sincerity." Too much advertising, too many rock clichés from the eighties... The song structures could have been developed differently... There isn't a single, I mean a single, song that deviates a bit from the banal. A collection of already-heard tunes, the usual full and punctuated guitar riffs, the typical pim-pom, pim-pom drumbeat... The same character following in the footsteps of the motleycrue...

No, dear anonymous, I don't only listen to stuff from thirty years ago, even though nine times out of ten it's hard to find a product today that can stand even a little comparison to the splendor of the music from the seventies. I guess.
