Well, shameonyou, what can I say... if you form your opinion through the propaganda media owned by the big boss (the same ones that have emphasized the connection between the beasts of Satan and "extreme" music), you can't really engage in a conversation. As (I hope) the final response to these ignorant and superficial detractors, I say... I am a LEFT-WING metalhead, I read newspapers, I watch political programs sometimes even at the expense of good movies, I stay informed, I always vote, and given my 21 years I’m no longer a fucking teenager. Especially since I discovered metal only recently. Metal, especially of this kind, with its violence, has the effect of making us aware of the true animality of human nature, where other musical genres hypocritically try to make us ignore it with the mindless softness of the music and lyrics. METAL, on the other hand, gives you a punch in the face and clearly shows you how man is inherently made... The violence in music serves (for the sane) to exorcise that of reality... Anyway, I knew that not only are Venom considered the forefathers of this wonderful musical genre, but also Celtic Frost (Swiss!). The album has never been very digestible for me, and apart from a few tracks ("Freezing Moon" is beautiful), I find it dull... what can I say?! I gave it a 4 because they are a truly historic and seminal band. In other words, as long as IT'S THEM playing like this, everything's fine... but a large percentage of the hundreds of black metal bands out there now (still painted like pandas, featuring unnecessarily inverted crosses, pseudo-satanic symbols bought at the flea market, etc...) makes me feel a bit sorry for them. Long live BLACK METAL, anyway.

Come on, I've seen worse reviews; this one is just the right length and seems to be written from the heart... the album is simply perfection made thrash. Even though I personally like "...and justice for all" just a tiny bit more.
