If I were to be "consistent," then I should never listen to 90% of black metal bands, nor Manowar, nor a lot of other metal...but only Guccini, Jovanotti, and all the rest of the "committed" music... but I love the forest, the cold, the fog, and the bands that manage to evoke these and other things. That's why I'm intrigued by understanding black metal (and by the way I play it with my band) and I listen to it because, in its own way, it moves me and transports me to another world... Obviously, though, the real world is another one... it's full of assholes like you who listen to music purely for ideology.
