Burzum Hvis Lyset Tar Oss
Voto:
A concise and minimalist yet meaningful review...from a true blackster who doesn't get lost in chatter...and the album...a masterpiece with extremely long tracks that leave marks in the mind but never get boring...beautiful, beautiful...then there's the album artwork, featuring the paintings of T Kittelsen...very beautiful...in short, I liked it...did you get it?

Rockardo learns to read: "THE AUTHOR OF THE ALBUM being reviewed has expressed and expresses political positions and has committed (and instigated others to commit) actions that are repugnant to DeBaser"... not who reviewed the album, got it? The repugnance refers to Burzum, not to Maledetta...

Hey... to Maledetta "just" you don't tell him...
Iron Maiden The Number Of The Beast

Zero, there's no point in getting angry... this review was written simply to be a pain in the ass...
AleFearSatan, the rating "1" is given to an UGLY album that SUCKS, not to an OVERATED album.
Linkin Park Meteora

Well, it depends on what you mean by big... if you mean Big=they have a lot of money, then yes, they are a big group...
But how come they've been gone for almost two years now? Could they have been a METEORA? uahuahuahuahuahuahua!!!.... what a load of crap...
Manowar Louder Than Hell

Poor Karl Logan... he's the quietest one, playing his guitar, just sitting there peacefully... how does he manage to come off as unbearable?

I'm listening to some scattered bits of these... their message is ridiculous, but the pieces are nice...

50 cent Get Rich Or Die Tryin'
Voto:
But indeed, money is welcome... if it comes while maintaining a minimum of artistic dignity... But it's not that one makes music solely for that... While he was in the underground, it must have been hard and pure, etc., but once he entered the mainstream, to me he seems like a clone of everyone else: muscular gym rats, a mafioso face, gold chains, girls in the video, lyrics that go from minimally committed to absurd...
So if you listen to Cannibal Corpse and Burzum but you like the style of 50 Cent, it seems to me that you haven't understood one of those things at all. On one hand, you have artists who have made coherence (whether musical or ideological) their banner and have NEVER sold out... everything is the opposite of this, who jumped onto the rich man's wagon, following the path of so many others...

no, I changed my mind, screams are cool... :)

In the end, the only sensible thing was said by the anonymous NoWords... Anyway, the album seems really beautiful to me. Great presence of the bass, drums that don’t sound triggered (awesome!!!!)... too bad about those screaming-pisciazza endings from Barnes every now and then; without false modesty, I could have done those better myself (just those, though...)... anyway, great album... Sometimes metalheads (and I consider myself quite a metalhead) either end up tearing each other apart saying the same things or saying different things and closing themselves off in their own vision of music, not realizing that metal music unites us all... when I go to Alpheus here in Rome to catch a concert, I headbang and mosh with everyone from the fifteen-year-olds with studs and the Manson t-shirts to those who know much more and are wearing a shirt, I don’t know, from Anaal Nathrakh. Maybe if one doesn’t get lost in pointless sectarianism, they can discover they can teach something to the young unshaven kids, just as they can learn from the experts (there’s always the expert who knows way more than you)...
