Iron Maiden The Number Of The Beast

Neu! The review is written by someone who has listened to the album maybe three times, who doesn’t understand what the lyrics say and gives them a wrong meaning, and who clearly knows nothing about Maiden... there are all the elements to consider it a terrible review... it’s one thing to hate the album, but you can’t say that the review is a 5.

No, no stargazer, in my opinion this album is superior to Itiphallic...

Duane, have you ever tried making music? Forming a band and writing songs, riffs, lyrics... if so, would you have liked it if some nobody came along and said you suck? Just like that, out of the blue... I really don't think so. You would have thought that someone like that should be ashamed, because instead of valuing emerging music, they tend to undermine it for no reason... or not? Morality police my ass, I'm just telling you that your behavior is completely unfounded and annoying, and that you're wrong to judge an emerging band so harshly based on unfounded prejudices... or maybe you’re one of those who have never even played the intercom, but feels fully justified in giving a totally negative judgment on a group they don't know, judging everything all at once: technique, composition, sounds, arrangements, etc. comfortably seated in their damn chair...

Anyway, the pieces are smooth and well-played, well arranged, and also have some interesting technical insights, because the technical skills are there... the review is right, some parts might be a bit commercial, especially in the choruses and the softer sections, but this is the music they want to make and they do it. Those who want to listen to them can do so; those who can only criticize can easily put on their own unique and intellectual music, their "good music," and not listen to them. That's it.

Duane, this is an emerging band of young guys making their own music in an original way and trying to get noticed everywhere (considering the amount of gigs they've been doing for quite some time now). I really don't understand your prejudiced hostility towards them; you showed up and probably without even having listened to them, you immediately started trash-talking them... I'm sorry because I know them personally, and even if their genre may not be my favorite, I would never allow myself to label them a "beautiful avalanche of shit" in advance.

No, you're not the bad apple; everyone has their own tastes... but you can't really say this is a shit album... it's actually a very beautiful album, without fillers, incredibly inspired, one of their best. Their self-proclamation as the kings of metal refers not only to the music they make (and there, depending on individual tastes, one can either disagree or agree), but also to their lifestyle, to their actions: come on, really, they're living clichés... when heavy metal is mentioned and they don't come to mind as the first, at most second band, it means something's off. So they don't call themselves the kings of metal music, but the kings of metal as a lifestyle. They should be taken in the right context...

Well, I guess I'll give that little bit of money that comes from a record to my favorite bands...

I actually made a joke... you couldn’t wait for these losers to release that little hit, right? Go on, hurry up and buy it, because with the number of idiots around, if you wait too long, you won't find it... ahahah as if I give a damn about it.
P.S. Still two years, though.
