Oh, I almost forgot—don’t tell me that Gibsons are poetic, that is, if you mean the Les Pauls and the various Lucilles and BluesAxes, that’s fine, but those rock-oriented ones like the SG and all the X-Factors have little to no poetic quality IMHO.

If you start making smart comments in the community signing yourself as Merlin the Wizard, it’s understood that a judgment from Merlin the Wizard is more or less authoritative and not just a hit-and-run from some fool eager to spam and fish for fake votes here and there. It seems a bit different to me; that’s why we have nicknames, to avoid using real names but to create something that is nonetheless a personal identity.

Let's not say nonsense, Justice; Malmsteen is just someone who can play pentatonic scales at 230 bpm, which is certainly a skill but it's not music... I appreciate the impartiality of IO and the in-depth analysis of the character in question; however, technically he is a bit limited. I don't think he will ever reach the level of what Steve Vai and Satriani perform in almost all their songs (have you ever seen Malmsteen do tapping solos???)
