On the link I posted, there’s the guitarist’s email; contact him and he will definitely reply to you.

But have you seen live at budokan? You can see that he's lost a lot of weight since scenes from a memory. I also saw him live not too long ago and I was amazed by how rejuvenated he looked. Anyway, changing the subject, I have a tip for you: I wrote a review on an emerging band, Algol 3; they are Italian, so if you can get your hands on something, do it because they are truly extraordinary.

No, because since you called him chubby... damn, Allen is twice that!

Yes, but what I wanted to say is that you should have included the film and the other shortcomings in the review; otherwise, it comes across as incomplete and lacking in substance.

Eddie Vedder? What are you talking about, have you lost your mind? It's like comparing spring with an autumn storm... mediocre? Oh my gosh, how brave!!! You could have mentioned CHRIS CORNELL (a great singer) and then I wouldn't have been shocked, but Vedder...

Well, evidently it's just a matter of taste, and anyway after the obvious decline that LaBrie had undertaken after Scenes from a Memory, recently he's taken a nice turn for the better, he started studying again and it showed during the last tour in Italy with Dream Theater. The same Live in Budokan, in my opinion, showcases a great performance by the singer. Of course, the lackluster nature of the band's recent tracks and the use of all those damn filters detract a bit from it. Anyway, is it just me or does LaBrie really get on your nerves?

Once, I heard a couple of their tracks and I was about to throw up; maybe I listened to the two worst pieces in their discography... The review is well done, essential and explanatory.

But do they pay you to make them seem like the band of the century? The description of the individual tracks is very vague: for example, you can't say "PROSTHETICS is based on a film from the '60s"... but which film? Or "SURFACING rocks hard"... but what does that mean? Even the traffic outside my house rocks... the balls. The two in the review is for encouragement. Bye.

I repeat, I didn’t say that he is the absolute best, but in terms of emotion, in my opinion, LaBrie has no comparisons. Try listening to "The Human Equation" (Ayreon) and tell me if the emotions conveyed in LaBrie’s sung parts aren’t sublime. Allen is great but has a completely different style from LaBrie; he might be technically superior, but in terms of expressiveness, he still has a long way to go. Lande isn’t on his level, Gildenlow I heard live with POS and he was disappointing, and I’ve also seen a duet with Tate and LaBrie… we’re joking if we think that’s even a contest. Alder is an excellent singer but technically inferior to James, even though he knows how to convey great emotions. As you can see, I know these artists well, and I express a personal judgment that can be shared or not. However, I repeat that you made absolute comparisons by stating that, for you, LaBrie is inferior to all these gentlemen you mentioned. I can accept your PERSONAL opinion, but in my review, I talked about a specific aspect among many that a singer must have (to evoke emotions in the listener). If you want to discuss the topic further, I’m available. Oh, sorry if I offended you, but it wasn’t my intention (the ridicule wasn’t directed at you, but at the rating given to the BJ album). Bye.
