Your concept of an artist is quite strange because for me, an artist is someone who creates something that people like... it can be appreciated immediately or maybe 200 years later... You say that Vasco copied a genre from foreign authors, but where’s the proof? I had never heard that before... Maybe he took a genre as a model and then brought it to Italy... a reference genre... but who doesn’t have a reference genre? How can you be a singer if you don’t have a preferred genre?
