Well, songs that talk about grief seem to touch everyone a bit... you can listen to Vasco, De André, Ligabue, anyone... the song that speaks of someone who's no longer here hits you because I think each of us has experienced a loss in life, and a song about someone who's gone naturally reminds you of that loss or anyway of that dear person... it all depends on how the song is written... Liga writes it in his own way, Vasco in another, De André in yet another, and so on... the point is to appreciate the work of each individual author, their style, their way of writing, and their ability to find the right words.
