Ngw, I've been listening to Italian music for quite a while, and hearing that Vasco is an icon of music that promotes commerce is complete and utter nonsense! For years, Vasco has been the bad example, the singer to avoid because he spoke such true things that it could make you go against the system (which isn't very productive)... then over time, people realized that Vasco was telling the truth, maybe with simple concepts... but a simple concept is a deep concept because it holds the truth... and what's deeper than the truth? If his music is heard in commercials, it's because Vasco is one of the greatest singers in Italy, a singer who put in a lot of hard work before getting where he is... and let me remind you that to use a song in a commercial, there's no longer a need to ask the author for permission... so don't come and hassle those who have always kept to themselves, and if he has sometimes caused a stir, he did it to provoke the people who try to trample on the faces of ordinary folks like us (e.g. il berlusca!) bye bye

Well, I was referring to singer-songwriter music, but I also believe that the way of singing changes according to tastes... Anyway, regarding the fact that now there's a trend for singers to voice their thoughts about the system, yes, it’s a trend now, but in Italy, Vasco was one of the first (if not the first, I'm not sure about that) to take a stand against the system, and that's why he became successful... There has never been any downside to this, but I don’t think that being against the system is very productive... There are those who, despite this, have managed to become someone (I’m not just referring to Vasco). Bye bye.

I don’t want to arrive anywhere... for me, Vasco is a great artist, a singer-songwriter, call him what you want, because he has managed to bring a new way of making music in Italy... an Italy that was filled with people bored by someone like Baglioni or Zucchero... simple yet essential concepts that go straight to the gut... a direct language against conformism, against the do-gooders... for me, Vasco is great because he has managed to do all this without being afraid of the consequences... if you don’t think so, that’s your problem, just as it’s mine if I believe Vasco is a good singer... points of view... I don’t go around with blinders on, because objectively speaking, for me Vasco is one of the best at what he does, just like Pino Daniele, just like the Rem, Guns, U2 (even if they’ve become a bit boring), etc., etc.... people who aren’t afraid to express their opinions... this is for me good music.

Have you ever wondered why I don't know Duke Ellington? It's simple; evidently, it's not my preferred genre of music, black music.... Surely, there's something wrong with you... you can't accept that people listen to music that is a bit different from what you listen to! Maybe you're older than me, I don't know, but you’re definitely quite limited.... My tastes include artists like Jeff Buckley, Sonic Youth, Jimi Hendrix, but also Italian singer-songwriters like Pino Daniele, less renowned bands, etc., so as you can see, I don't think my musical culture is so limited; it's you who are stuck on the idea that I listen to crap music.... So I can't help but think: between the two of us, who is the child? Me, who tries to give you an explanation every time, or you, who are stubborn and move forward with blinders on, unable to accept that music is not just made up of what you listen to?? Bye.

No, I don't know them just like you surely don't know Blonde Redhead, and now to play the know-it-all you’ll go look them up on the internet, but now I'll try to download this album because I like discovering new music, unlike you who shuts yourself off and doesn’t want to know about other music... Giorrrrgio, I think the one who needs to listen to a lot of music before speaking is you, not me... open up a bit... it's advice, not an insult.

Giorgio, I repeat, if we're talking about music, shut up because you're just embarrassing yourself... do you really think you're a music connoisseur just because you know 4 metal bands? Come on, just be quiet!! Bye, trash.

Ah frasco, I reread a couple of the nonsense you wrote and you know what I think?? They're really funny, they made me laugh a lot because they're just too silly, like you..... you're a big kid and the silliness you write proves it...... I'll give you some examples: PILA! PILA! PILA! PILA! ...! (batteries) CLICK! PILA! PILA!...
VICTORY! VICTORY! Oooh oooh! VICTORY! VICTORY or one I read in another review that quoted the following comment repeated 4 or 5 times Oh the vote........Oh the vote......oh the vote etc... you're really a great idiot....... sometimes though if you try hard you manage to make arguments that make a bit of sense.... good job, put in more effort and shoot less crap.... Anyway, let's talk about music which is better... For those who want to listen to some good music, I recommend buying (or better downloading to save money) the discography of Blonde Redhead, a band quite faithful to the style of Sonic Youth.... bye bye
