K balls! So why is it that when we talk about great Italian albums we have to: 1) feel like victims of a system 2) feel inferior to anyone 3) follow absurd clichés 4) act like underdeveloped beings 5) make comparisons that diminish the artistic value of a genuinely evident and relevant work.. it's exactly this, in my opinion, that holds many bands back in their own country, scared of the criticism and possible similarities. In America or England, they don't give a damn about all these adjectives; they're more open-minded and maybe a bit more obtuse.. anyway, it’s better to resemble the bands you mentioned earlier than (as happens in England) the various Strokes, White Stripes, and people like that, "rehashed, who cares, I’m 20 and I’ll end up in magazines like Casablancas and company with some nice girls." I said this in the review of 17 Re by Litfiba as well.

that mistake about the genre "classical" is fueling discussions as I see.. well, even though I don't have knowledge in that field (Mozart etc..) I don't believe that rock and the masterpieces of the previous century will be defined in the future with that term.. they will be considered for eternity as great "works", but come on, how will the various Mozarts and Beethovens be called then.. classical music is something else and we can't put everything in one basket.. but if I think about it well.. now the term rock has expanded.. damn.. now even Spears is rock or Subsonica is rock (I have nothing against them).. in some ways a generalization is already underway, but not with the genre "classical"..

I ask the debaseriani to remove the term classical from the degenerates; I don’t remember putting it there myself... who knows.

Inspiration can serve as a way to begin doing something; I don't think being inspired by someone means copying and creating without originality.
