I have almost finished listening to the album while reading this great review. You step into something new that you don't know what it is, but you like it a lot.

beautiful yet infuriated review of a work not yet deeply listened to but definitely less straightforward to listen to over and over again... too accustomed to the surprises of the past...

you seem like an excitable person. well shot, I’d say not much dialogue, I’d say like someone else said, too focused on Ian’s relationships with women, I’d say the other Joy Division members are portrayed so unlikably and inhumanly that I’m perplexed. I’d also say that okay, epilepsy as a cause, let’s throw in the guilt over betrayal, but I believe there’s something else in the mix that maybe the wife didn’t know. And that wife, not very convincing. Then, somewhere, it seems I read that he was with someone else… but what do I know… The albums? Okay, maybe Ian didn’t care at all? The music is missing. Sure, Ian’s performance is perfect, even though he seemed too likable at first… This review is written like this, like that, you need to learn to develop a bit of critical sense, not everything can, objectively speaking, be perfect. As for the rest, the situation with the petition is strong. I also wished to see him here… but zero.

In my opinion, if he had stopped at Bowie’s cover, it would have deserved a full 5.

11 out of 15 songs deserve it.. the core is an awful song like the art of mixing and other instrumental fillers.. the rest deserves it! Ideaplatonica is perhaps the masterpiece of their entire career.

a record that I’m starting to appreciate only now, before it was just boredom. "Canto" is anything but an anonymous song, and together with "Stato d'animo" and "Musa" (what a drag the whole piano issue with Conte was; anyone could have played it, come on..) are the best and would, in my opinion, rank among the classics of Marlene. The rest is a bit too soft, a bit too clean Ferretti (in the vocals), let’s admit it, Godano isn’t really putting much effort into the singing... a slight drop in inspiration in the lyrics... probably, and I hope... this is just a transitional album... who knows when we’ll get a masterpiece from M.K.... who knows...
