I'm sorry, ThirdEye. As you can see, I didn't give a rating to the album since I never listened to it. More than anything, I've heard critics call them a simple "metalcore band," but one had to be skeptical since nowadays journalists label everything they hear as metalcore (like The Dillinger Escape Plan). I will make sure to listen to something. In the meantime, congratulations on the nickname; it reminds me of an album by the great Theory In Practice.

I quote Spreka, these French don't stray far from modern metalcore.

Did you not like any of these three bands? For me, Nile, despite playing a chaotic style like brutal death metal, manage to "play with harmony," as you define it. Necrophagist is genius, although I consider them more technical death metal, even if they have inspired many bands in the genre. They also play with their heads, especially in their latest album, Epitaph. To conclude, I can't say I'm a huge fan of Origin either; their songs can be a bit too repetitive, although listening to one of their albums is always a pleasant experience.

Haha, genius Tepes, I fell off my seat from laughing. Larrok, have you ever heard any albums by Nile?
