For Larrok: first of all, I'm not questioning their technique, which is certainly high, but I don’t like them and they don't strike me as a great band. In the end, what do they do? They certainly make fairly original music, but in my opinion, they don’t deserve all the following they have. Also, I don’t listen to this music to "mosh" and to let loose as you define it; it gives me emotions, okay? Emotions that no other music gives me. Now let's talk about fjelltronen, probably it’s you who doesn't know what music is. Just listen to the last 3 albums by Cryptopsy; Cryptopsy are a unique band, like Voivod or Meshuggah, for example. They incorporate various elements like fusion into brutal death metal; tracks like Cold Hate, Warm Blood are unreachable, way ahead of their time. Cryptopsy are musicians who are far ahead; you should listen to the live None So Live to realize it. I really don’t think that’s blasphemy, so… I thank you anyway for trying to calm things down…

This kind of music might be fine for some clueless fifteen-year-old kid who goes wild pogoing like there's no tomorrow, without knowing shit about music, but totally hyped to the moon by the devastation he feels. Just comparing these Spanish losers, for instance, to Opeth (to stay within heavy metal), you realize the qualitative musical abyss between the two. Well, maybe it's just me who doesn't get it... >>> perspectives... to me, Opeth really suck; they might be as good as you want, but they have a huge lullaby effect on me. If you technically compare them to "incapable" brutal bands (as you put it) like Gorguts and Cryptopsy... well... the latter have musical techniques that bands like Opeth can only dream of, and before being so pretentious, they should really lower their heads a bit.
