Korn See You On The Other Side
Voto:
I listened to it, and I found it really... really... really... HOLY CHRIST, I found nothing, I'm not passing judgment. Nu Metal, trying to add a bit of Industrial, mixing in some more (As if they didn’t have enough already) clichés and banality. I’m biased, I throw enough shit at Korn, but there is something salvageable. Now they should be burned at the stake, along with their fake musically cultured fans, their bland and derivative style (A bit dark, a bit metal, a bit punk, a bit raw, a bit queer) and the patheticness of Jonathan Davis (And his microphone designed by that great artist Giger... bad taste a Go Go). The review is nice, but too "personal" (I’m picky and happy to be so). Review another band... maybe an unknown one... :)

"Those who call themselves "metalheads" are always ready to discredit you and claim that a song is good only because it has a great solo, without paying attention to the message, because music is also, and above all, communication." -----> Metalheads definitely don’t go for those beautiful solos you mention (Perhaps you were referring to the usual band everyone talks bad about without any basis...), on the contrary, we’re talking about black metal, which is the ultimate minimization of technique in this musical genre. Anyway, if those who listen to metal don’t appreciate this stuff, it’s because of its quality. I started listening to metal at 14, drawn in by the emerging "Nu" trend (a term that all Nu Metal bands later reject, as if they disgusted themselves), and I also supported the idea of music saying more than the rest. Then I grew up, listened to as much music as possible, and realized that songs full of "I'm sick of it all," "I'm about to break," and "Fuck You" are qualitatively equal to various Green Day, Britney Spears, and all the catchy little tunes from MTV. Maybe one day you'll realize that the quality of a song/album isn't determined by lyrics relatable to teenagers, but by many factors that determine whether something is truly art or just "business." Slipknot is like a local market... Maybe one day you’ll wonder if that solo you talked about earlier didn't convey much more in its few notes than the entire discography of the cheerful circus you reviewed in its self-titled album.

...Oh my God...I ILLEGALLY downloaded that track which the guy in question claims has an "incredible drum passage"...I DESERVE TO BE ARRESTED! I think even Le Vibrazioni do better...oh, and never listen to anything by Death, Dream Theater, Nile, or you’ll have a heart attack hearing how a drum should sound...DeBaser reminds me so much of punk: Anyone can write, but the overall quality tends to inevitably go down...

...it's still not funny; even to mess around, you need style.

So, Mr. Spreka, regarding the pharaonic scenarios, it simply refers to the previous album, "Powerslave," which draws inspiration from ancient Egypt (both in the artwork of the booklet and covers and in the music). Not understanding it is due to your ignorance of Maiden matters (this is not an offense, to be clear), while regarding the other statements, I agree with you.

Well Mr. Kirk89, I don’t think “Juve in B” is synonymous with assurance; I don’t have a high opinion of the game of football, and especially of the exploitation that is made of it in our society. Therefore, I can’t take someone who calls themselves that seriously. I don’t understand how you intend to use my own weapon; my nickname doesn’t have a sensible interpretation that could lead you to take me seriously or not... Anyway, it’s pointless to debate; I simply expressed an opinion... my sacred right (Still for a little while probably =__=)...

Dear Kirk89, a nickname allows you to identify yourself in a virtual community in a certain way, it effectively becomes a second name, especially on sites like DeBser where you build a certain "reputation." Now, I might have the most ridiculous nickname on the site, but at least it's a kind of name that belongs only to me. It's hard for me to take someone seriously who chooses the slogan "Juve in B" as a second name (in my case, of course), and I feel like expressing my dissent on this (even though I find the review is written quite well).

Freedom of expression, let everyone curse as much as they want. It’s their problem to annoy others, and their guide is their own common sense (Today I feel like speaking like Yoda).

One of the absolute best by Maiden, and one of my favorite metal albums:
Brilliant, innovative, and with not a single dip! I don't agree that "Caught Somewhere in Time" is not a suitable opener, nor that "Sea of Madness" and "Deja vu" are fillers, and your nickname is really stupid and childish, and you'll always be seen as an idiot (I don't follow football, and I couldn't care less about Juve, just to be clear), but the review is well done, well written, and flows nicely. 3 and 1/2 it is!
