The (in my opinion) very funny easycure doesn’t understand that it’s not the fact that he doesn’t like Dream that bothers me, but how he tries to throw mud at them at every opportunity and how he only judges the “physical” side of the music, meaning that when he listens to Dream, he only hears copies and banalities without feeling, I don’t know, the love that drives Edward to murder his brother and the woman he loves, or the meaning of the words in The Spirit Carries On! It’s fair to be annoyed with those who try to defend Dream at all costs, saying, “If you don’t like Dream, you’re stupid and ignorant!” or with those who say, “Everything Dream does is gold!” But maybe he’s wrong to judge a band that plays a genre he doesn’t like, or at least it doesn’t seem to me that he has mentioned any real prog metal bands, but rather many groups that often have very little to do with metal, like the Tortoise for example...
