The Darkness put on a monstrous show. I was there for them too; I've always liked them in their classic rock star form. I knew they were a powerhouse on stage, but, CHRIST, what a performance! I saw quite a few metalheads dancing, and that's ABSOLUTELY no small feat... the Metallica were obviously the main attraction, and they absolutely lived up to expectations. In fact, they'll be coasting on this for at least another 10 years. They’re not the Metallica of old, that’s indisputable, but the emotions they deliver are still incredibly strong. I agree that the new song, "New Song," seems to suck a bit... we were hoping for something decent... oh well... As for the others (the contest winners, Amphitrium, Trivium, and Living Things, I didn’t see them; the last ones because we preferred to eat...), I have to say that neither Lacuna Coil nor Avenged Sevenfold were bad. They both deliver well live, even though I'm not a huge fan of either.

I don't know, but in Enthrone Darkness Triumphant there is, besides the violence, an incredibly high musical quality. It's definitely their best. We are talking about Symphonic Black on a DT review, uh... let's put it this way, W i Drim Tiater!!! Come on, take it easy, because on August 29 the new live album with the orchestra is coming out, and you will be commenting on it, shattering the dreams of all the kids! XD
