F***, a review that doesn’t add anything to the others already made. 1 because today I'm feeling mean and I'm taking it out on you. 4 and 1/2 for the album.

I find it amazing, but it’s undeniable that it doesn’t reach the same quality as the early albums. A masterpiece nonetheless! The review is a bit underdeveloped; maybe you should have written a little more about the tracks, perhaps linking them through the concept... but you still deserve a passing grade! :)

Well, I don't know who the hell you know, but certainly a good part of the people who listen to DT don’t go around ā€œtrying to be alternativeā€ (actually, these days it’s trendy to trash them). Quite the opposite, it’s you guys who are making this annoying, flaunting that you listen to superior stuff, occasionally mentioning something that has nothing to do with this... really, we're talking about metal here, and if you throw in a genre like post-rock (which I appreciate a lot, just to be clear), what the hell does that have to do with Dream? You've made quite a leap! I understood your argument perfectly, don’t worry, and I partly agree since I’m not a fan of those aforementioned Heroes, but calling ā€œidiots who force themselves to like this stuffā€ anyone who listens to genres you consider ā€œinferiorā€ is definitely offensive. There’s really not much to interpret here.

Well, easy, if someone says that people pretend to appreciate "this patched-up crap" in a review of Dream Theater, I suppose they are referring to them and to metal in general (Guitar Hero). And their way of addressing it, calling idiots those who appreciate a certain way of understanding music (...the arrogance is sometimes so overwhelming that it buries the thought that tastes can exist in the world) doesn't seem like admirable appreciation to me. Everyone is good at throwing shit. This person has no admiration from me at all. Comments should be constructive, not offensive (You have every right to your own opinion, yes, but as long as you don't offend anyone).

Ah, besides the "for example" in addition, I wrote a half-sentence: If for you studying an instrument with passion, to push yourself to the highest levels (...) is a waste of time, then give up music, it’s not your field.

Come on, just to avoid the impression of being someone who only insults: Dream Theater aren't appreciated just for their technical prowess, but for the way they play. People don't pretend to love this band; there’s a lot of patched-up crap out there (you could, for example, name what you listen to). If for you studying an instrument with passion, to push yourself to the highest levels (you know how it is, many people see technique as one less hindrance; the more you can do, the more you can do), is just "great solos and cheap riffs," it shows your ignorance on the subject. You've probably never actually listened to Dream Theater, and I'm wasting time with a child, but today I’m not working and I’ve got nothing to do. Oh yeah.
