Well Mr. Joe, I must say, your speech seems more fitting for what is Train of Thought; here I don’t think we can accuse them of being either hyper-fast or hyper-technical, nor of sounding necessarily... especially this last point doesn’t really reflect the Dream well, who in 20 years have released 8 official albums, not 30...

Alessandro, even though this will never happen because I'm heterosexual, you deserve a nice kiss with tongue! :D
You practically expressed my point of view in just one comment:
One should learn to trust words less and listen as much as possible... there should be a greater open-mindedness for what I think. After all, appreciating more or less genres depends on the degree of open-mindedness, and setting boundaries only leads to labeling a lot of music that could be evaluated differently as "bad"...

The only one playing decently is the drummer, but nothing special anyway. I can easily play the pieces by Slipknot on the guitar, like almost all the Nu Metal stuff and so on, but I don't do it because I'm afraid the guitar might refuse... Do you know what it means to play difficult music?

No wildchild, if you've never picked up an instrument before, it's not easy to imitate them, but just give it half an hour... XD

No Metallaro, you have shown us precisely what the word "Idiot" means. Regarding the album... CHRIST, the state of the art!

Tepes, this cold prog thing sounds to me like rhetoric on par with "Communists eat babies"... Nice review, I need to listen to the album carefully and then I’ll vote!

Susu, giving it a 1 is too much. This is one of those CDs that brought kids closer to Metal! If we want to say it, everyone from Linde ppakk, Slipkrock, Pop Korn, and Syt tutt down, without comparing them in musical quality, have done a great job of introducing many youngsters to music outside the MTV context. A 2 is what it needs.

Guys, are you serious? What does it even mean to cover yourself?? O___O
If I play all the tracks from my album, am I covering myself? Oh, wake up! That's my stuff, and I play it when and how I want! PS: "This year, besides Dark Side of The Moon, they covered 'Made in Japan' by Deep (In the second Tokyo date, 'Made in Japan' covered in Japan HAHA)! Personally, I would have preferred '2112' or 'Operation: Mindcrime' above all anyway...

Totally personal opinion: The early Linkin Park (more precisely, from Hybrid Theory EP to Reanimation) were interesting. Definitely mainstream (like all Nu Metal, no offense to Korn fans and Slipknot fans), but with something special that set them apart, and a willingness to experiment (as much as it might upset metal purists, Reanimation was truly anything but commercial). 3 (including sentimental value). PS: And anyway, better than the 9 jumping/singing clowns! XD
