Thank you MAXDEFENDER for the compliments, I fully agree with you on everything. :)
Elio e Le Storie Tese Studentessi

Let's see, as a fan of Elio, I can't refrain from sharing my thoughts on this album... I've listened to it several times, and I like it; musically, I believe it’s top-notch. The tracks are truly fantastic, ranging as always from Italian tradition to rock, not to mention a bit of jazz (and samba... xD)... They undeniably stay true to their nature as progressive musicians... :) The highlight of this album is no longer in the nonsensical comedy, or rather, if before we had a fifty-fifty (Musical level/Nonsensical nature of the lyrics), I would say this is a 65/35. For this reason, it doesn't reach a 5, but a 4.5, for sure. Very well-crafted, and packed (Overloaded!) with references. But as always, an album not for everyone... ;)
PS: The review could have been done better. Maybe you could have avoided the track by track and tried to better express the feelings that this album evokes in you and why not, compare it with the previous ones.

Bla bla bla Stoney? I mean, bla bla bla, bla bla, bla bla bla, bla bla?
Because I think Bla BLa BLAAAAAAAA, bla bla bla.
Aside from this, I agree with your bla bla bla.
Korn Live & Rare

Thoughtless, talking to you is a waste of time. You're just a kid if you come here to insult (Writing with K... How old are you, 12? XD), and you have the nerve to give this album 5 stars. It's clear that you haven't even read what I've written, as you mention Iron Maiden and Metallica without paying any attention to the rest. That Korn invented a genre, oh, nobody doubts that. What we're discussing is the substance of the genre itself, and so, dear, you don't count. That Korn gives you emotions, sure, who doubts that? But so can Britney Spears and Finley, so what kind of comparison is that? But never mind, we'll talk about this again in ten years... ;)
Iron Maiden A Matter Of Life And Death

Neu! you can't compare Maiden to Korn... =_=
Korn really suck, and I consider them a little band for teenagers, or rather, for teenage girls, but Maiden, no matter how much they do and have always done the same things, are one of the bands I enjoy listening to the most... I also love Metallica, as I love many other genres (lately, metal is the genre I listen to the least)... Putting Maiden as an MTV band is really wrong, especially because, when talking about Metallica, it's the latter who are making bar music now... Even though live they're still awesome... :)

Dream Theater Systematic Chaos

Ah, justice, while we're at it, could you tell me where the immense genius of Opeth lies? Because honestly, whether it's the older stuff (the one with more growl) or the newer (the one that's cleaner), I just can't find this greatness that everyone talks about. They seem like a nice band, but reading the reviews, I expected more. PS: A masterpiece of contemporary progressive for me is "Last Epic" by A.C.T. A band with some guts.

Lux, I really don't want to have discussions at all. If you read the various reviews from the last three years, you can find long arguments made both with complete idiots and with people who love to shit on many things by nature (starting with Dream Theater, even including the Beatles, since now shitting on things is in fashion), posing as cool, listening to "alternative" music (some really dreadful stuff) and acting like pretentious know-it-alls. Just imagine if I want to argue. I used to do it more often before; now, honestly, I limit myself to listening to what I like and delving into what I don't know. But it seriously bothers me when comparisons are made to the past in music. Dream Theater is nothing compared to Rush, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Kansas, Banco, Area, and all the bands that created THE musical genre (that’s my opinion). If I were to think that way, I would say that ALL music that came after is crap. This includes the Cure (great band, but nothing like what was there before), Queen (same), Tool (...) and all the stuff that came after. Because afterwards, there have only been evolutions. Then, if we talk about emotions, we all need to be quiet and accept that tastes are subjective and that objectivity in taste for art is non-existent. PS: Technique in music has had the same importance then as it does today, it's just that today it's bla bla bla bla. Maybe there are those who like it, and for some, even technique brings emotions... I like Systematic Chaos, not just for the technique, but also. Then, regarding the fact that they have done better and that there are those who currently do better, that's a given. But that's not how I judge music, and, more generally, art.

Lux, maybe you should educate yourself on what art is, because you are filling these pages with beautiful words that sound irreparably empty. I don't want to engage in meaningless disputes with the provocateurs/defamers/deriders of Dream Theater. It's to be accepted that the greater something is, the bigger the shadow it casts. And the DT are enormous. The accusations leveled over the years are always the same, so they should be ignored, especially those that look to the past to tarnish the group, since it's a generic argument that could fit any band of any genre. Let's also set aside the Tool fans who make me laugh. As for the album, I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't expect anything like this, and I really like it. Quite progressive and quite experimental (as much as can be expected from Dream Theater). They have done better things, but blah blah blah, I’m not interested in words...
