Oasis (What's the Story) Morning Glory?

I don't doubt that this album had great commercial success, but that doesn't mean that just because it sold a lot and enriched the dear Gallagher brothers, it's to be thrown away. On the contrary, catchy tunes like "Don't Look Back in Anger" and "Wonderwall" are true masterpieces, because behind those 4 notes that could be seen as more plagiarism than tribute lies the spirit of many young people.
Oasis Definitely Maybe

Unlike "ayeye," I didn't grow up with Oasis; I assume I'm a few years younger than the other commentators. My first encounter was with "BE HERE NOW," and besides being the soundtrack of my 11 years, it also served as a benchmark for other albums. I must say that in comparison to "Definitely Maybe," it feels like a candlelight far away. I don't understand how it's possible to criticize an album like this; it's amazing. I can say that the lyrics resonate with my sensitivity and that of many of my friends from the last generation. Noel's riffs express, despite their simplicity compared to certain bands that generate more noise than music, all the anger, disdain, boredom, and melancholy that a young person can experience. This album changed the history of English music and probably global music as well, putting an end to the many messes of the '80s. Moreover, I express all my disappointment towards this damn unfair criticism; it doesn't deserve anything like that. LONG LIVE OASIS!
