I listened to it a little, but there are some pretty good tracks. I think it's perfect for long hypnotic car rides.

Again: let's be clear, it's not that music today is only crap, it's just that it has become more difficult to distinguish quality, especially since the media throw everything at us, literally everything, and I still believe that the level of commercial music is significantly lower compared to 10-15 years ago. And you can't find niche bands around anymore unless in some ultra-specialized store run by people who have true musical culture.

Oh, by the way, I don't find "antics" bad at all...

the last sentence: "because, from what you wrote, COMMA (otherwise I'll be seen as illiterate), ...". sorry, it didn't authenticate me before, it's still me.

Returning to "never let me down again," Martin Gore himself declared that he wrote it for his friend Fletcher. I don't know if the double meaning of the lyrics is intentional or not (it does raise some doubts...), and he can tell me all the nonsense he wants, but who better than the author himself can explain a song? Finally, speaking of Gore, HOW MANY KILOS HAS HE GAINED? The photos from the press conference are ruthless...

.. and then, to finish, the attack of "the american" is beautiful! Of course, EVERYTHING shrinks in comparison to Hunter and the hunted... I might just vote for it again.

Ah, the instrumental is called "sound in 70 cities" and appears as track no. 15 on the 2002 long play...

I prefer seeing out the angels, 20th century promised land, and even the chorus of wonderful in young life drives me crazy... anyway, I have the 2002 remastered long play, also because I don't think you can find older ones around. I also gave a listen to empires and dance, but they were just 30-second samples and I wouldn't know how to judge it... maybe better Sons, etc. D more easy listening. Finally, I'd like to stick my neck out for "street fighting years": I find it beautiful, though I don't know on the lyrical level it could be more original (from what I read in certain reviews; the words are not in the booklet! ah, the "quasi" cheap editions) but the arrangements are always "Minds style," they work as they should, and frankly, I consider it a work closer to their early 80s sound than "once upon a time"... I repeat, a commercial album but still very pleasant to listen to. Critics, on the other hand, have almost always panned it.
