3- Regarding the chart music of the '80s, I'm realizing now (with one shot) that not everything that glitters is gold... however, I believe that compared to today, the music was written much better. Last week, I went to the beer festival in Andrate (Ivrea) and I heard a cover band, the Divina I think, and the '80s hits they played were nothing short of exhilarating, even if rearranged with more modern sounds (if they weren’t on playback... hats off, I can assure you). As they say: it's a matter of note combination. THAT was music written with real substance. Try remixing the blues in a few years and you’ll see what garbage comes out!

2- I don't have a total idiosyncrasy towards the music you listen to (good thing there aren't the 9 assholes from Des Moines!). The point is that when it comes to hard rock mixed with synthesizers, I have a few particular tastes, especially regarding the '80s matrix. From that era, I really appreciated more pop works, or those that are more "chilly" and synthy (see John Foxx solo and Depeche Mode from 1984 onwards). Let's be clear: I appreciate the particular style of an album more than the long-term style of an artist. If, as is the case with DM, the two things are simultaneous, then here’s the band I like.

1 -I’ll explain the background. When I joined the bj community, believe me, a virus messed up my computer and I can't tell you the chaos I had to deal with to save all my work. Then I got carried away by what I read above. But since I can understand when it's time to take a step back, here I am talking in a more constructive way.

Yes, everyday I didn't remember it... but it's good. The one I had in mind was livin' on a prayer, but I thought it was less old, like '91 or thereabouts. I listened to 4 albums (the samples) and I'm not exactly enthusiastic about them; maybe it's just that I like a different genre, but at a quick ear check these days it's better than the previous ones. There's something here and there that works.

Jessy... I would like to ask you something. Assuming that I knew two or three Bj songs and didn’t mind them, actually, I remember having recently seen a video that starts with an image of a storm approaching a countryside dominated by radio telescope installations or something similar. Or am I confusing it with Placebo? I don't remember the song, but it was definitely by Bj.

Do you know why? Because it lacks Antonio's touch! That's why it doesn't make you laugh!

X THE SERVICE ON THE 7 TRACKS PRESENTED AND PLAYED IN LONDON ON 4/7 BY DM. If things are as they say, we will have a record that rocks. x for the tour I would keep an eye on Geneva.

I forgot "touched by the hand of god" which ideally (and only that unfortunately) is part of "technique."

maybe together with r.e.m. and u2, who for a few years have been getting on my nerves. they have a clearly superior past. as for new order, I must say that despite what critics and the public think, I just can’t seem to enjoy "power corruption and lies" too much (except for the cover). from what I’ve listened to, I prefer lowlife, and damn them for recording it a bit haphazardly in one night... then I would mention, as singles, "thieves like us" and "1963," which was the b-side of true faith if I'm not mistaken.

In "stripped," Gahan seems more like a synthesizer than a singer. Terrifying performance.
