I have a vague suspicion that the clever one loves to wallow in self-pity, just for the pleasure of seeing things in gray, and then making it evident that "yes, I have suffered," elevating it to an emblem of a superior sensitivity, of a "person of better quality." And according to Ivo X, he doesn’t mind being considered special, after all; not finding a cure is, in a way, a reason for "diversification" from the crowd. The subtle pleasure of feeling consoled, of feeling a bit special, is truly priceless. Then, from time to time, you have outbursts of "healthy anger": a bit of alternation does you good. And people notice it, and they can no longer categorize you. And that's the most entertaining thing of all. In my opinion, an artist can also be this.
