Oliver Onions Bud Spencer & Terence Hill Greatest Hits, Volume 2

Anyway, one of their best sequences ever is in the sequel, "They Kept Calling Him Trinity": you know the part when they go to eat at the restaurant, dressed like two federal agents? The whole lunch is spectacular!!

but...I wouldn't have gone out on a limb like that, revolver. Don't you fear the cross vendettas of the d'alessio clan? hehe :DDD
Franco Battiato Orizzonti Perduti

How I enjoyed this review! Battiato is an artist I need to listen to closely.
Tears For Fears The Seeds Of Love

I believe it won't disappoint you! It's a nice album. Right now I'm giving it another listen. I must say, very "summery" (in the best sense of the term), you can "feel" that it was recorded during that period in Ibiza. Then, for the "tff", there's no denying it, great choice! :-) If you want, let me know what you think of "technique". I'm naturally curious, you know! Bye :-)

"and this, because you brought it with you, Jonathan" "ah, I couldn't leave it in town: it's a typical alcoholic, it has the habit of telling the truth"
Tears For Fears The Seeds Of Love

Yes, these two, in the '80s, could do nothing but create great pieces. Those capable of writing music in a way that makes them memorable always find a way, and it's difficult to balance commercial demands with soul and refinement. I have great admiration for bands that can do this. It feels a bit like cars: limousines are hyper-technological, but the most desired and fascinating challenge (their words) for supercar designers is to create an innovative economy car. I hope you got that. PS - flood, forgive my curiosity, what will you do for "lowlife"? :-)

Tears For Fears The Seeds Of Love

I fully agree with the reviewer, especially regarding the more distinctly Tears for Fears-like parts. Excellent songs, a higher level of pop, as others have rightly pointed out. I really like "year of the knife," among many others.
New Order Low Life
Voto:
Indeed, the typical New Order style, inaugurated with "Blue Monday" (I could also mention some tracks from an EP from 1982, see "Procession," "Mesh," "Hurt," a link between "Movement" and what will come next) does deviate, even though in the more acoustic pieces of the subsequent works I find some resonance. Of their style, "Lowlife" is the greatest example. Including "Thieves Like Us." Bye!
New Order Low Life
Voto:
Be careful though, I know "power corr etc." through samples, so my judgment is biased! Still, I think they convey the idea. After "lowlife", if you enjoyed it, you could move on to "movement" (1981) if you're interested in the branch closer to Joy Division, or "technique" (1989) which is more dance (without going overboard, just to be clear!!! You can also find more distinctly acoustic tracks, still rooted in New Order, like "all the way" or "guilty partner"). "touched by the hand of god" isn't on the track list, and that's a shame. Anyway, the album is good. In any case, enjoy the music!
