The Psychedelic Furs The Psychedelic Furs

I explain it to myself with ignorance, enrico71. Ignorance and deafness that now permeate our society, fake idols from reality shows and makeshift fashion houses, mere consumers and not true appreciators of music. Let's get to the album. The four tracks I've heard (the three mentioned, plus "blacks/radio") I liked. I can't evaluate the whole album because I don't have it on hand.

Honestly, Zion, I would tell you to take it even before "power corruption and lies"; in any case, it’s a great album. If you are passionate about new wave in all its variations, especially the electronic ones, I believe it’s a very suitable purchase. I would also recommend "technique."
The Cure Seventeen Seconds
Voto:
a pop album that is never trivial, essential and captivating. Almost all great tracks, although "a forset" comes alive much more in the live version, "concert" or "live in orange" (I believe the max). I think it might be the best of The Cure, alongside Disintegration; I definitely find it more enjoyable than "pornography." In this respect, I can only agree with Easycure.

Votes, sorry. But could we increase the sensitivity of the grading scale?

the R.E.M. album I cherish the most, both for the quality of the songs, especially "bang and blame," "crush with eyeliner," "let me in," and for the beautiful memories from a few years ago, as I listened to it during my high school years.

I hope that Ege also arrives to leave a little comment...

Oh, good job Fabbiu, this album is already on my personal list, along with "lowlife." Based on the samples and my knowledge of JD-NO, I would also rate it 3.5-4. I love the transition in <<<"Dance '80" but what I actually call "Synth-pop" (even if it’s not about synthesizers but just keyboards) because one day I bought a CD titled "The Best Of Dance 80" and realized it wasn't what I was looking for. What I want is Gary Numan, Depeche Mode, Omd, Ultravox... >>> right? The same thing happened to me, can you believe it? :-)) I just can’t resell the cheesy stuff, though.

but in the end this fucking some great reward... do you like it? and don't vote based on WHO is writing, but on WHAT you know about the album. It seemed to me yes.

To the subject...??? I’m more than happy to give you my respect. But only when you realize you’ve been annoying me for no good reason. Excuse me, but just because someone walks by and leaves a comment about their own issues, does it automatically mean I have a beef with you? (from Johannesburg, South Africa, by the way, where I’m currently for work) Christ, I come here to talk about music after working my ass off, and instead of relaxing, I find a kid firing off absurd comments about things he thought up on his own! Do you even think before you speak? Do you believe I give a damn if you’re from Rome or Milan or Naples or who the hell knows? Do you talk like this with your own people? First of all, show some respect, because it’s what you need in life, even to rise up. Or do you prefer to keep your head down watching Big Brother all your life and writing stupid little comments on Debaser? Damn, I read the Nirvana unplugged; see, you can do something well? Far better than the crap you’ve left up here. By the way, I didn’t mind that live, I had it on cassette. If you were trying to mock the reviewer, I don’t know, and frankly, I don’t care. But those are “satisfactions” that end soon, believe me. Take a look outside and start to understand how things work. Rise up, and do it well, you still have time (I hope for you), or eventually, they’ll tear you apart. I know what I’m talking about; I see it here in Johannesburg every day. Christ, why can't today's teenagers get it anymore? Mediaset-MTV has done you more harm than good, with those fake shit shows!!! Listen to me, follow the editor, review. Propose your music. You will gain respect.

They spoke very highly of it just a couple of nights ago. They told me that they also have something from the Cure. Since my curiosity is growing, do you know if I can find any samples somewhere to "taste"? (besides, after reading the review and knowing my tastes, I'd buy it blindfolded anyway) :-)
