ege, I got this record today for 4.80 euros... what can I say... I might as well get all three complete albums... am I missing out on other gems?

all of this has NEVER been seen on debaser before. It's a serious matter. The absolute delirium. This is a full-scale attack on the site, perpetrated by individuals who are surely incited (or CREATED) by someone with a very specific destabilization plan in mind.

I knew that the real one would show up... he he... I agree. I took another look at your reviews, hope you don't mind.
Simple Minds Street Fighting Years

I know them from here. Oh, finally someone does justice to this album. I give it 4 stars, the review is good, even if I'm not always in agreement about the crap of the '80s (I really hope you weren't referring to "new gold dream"…). An album underrated by critics, and I have never understood why. Maybe they considered Kerr and his mates' socially-conscious lyrics "not sincere"? Who knows. I find good music, and that matters. Anyway, the atmospheres, even if with different sounds, in my "feeling" are very Simple Minds. The title track is a splendor. Good review, also because you made me want to listen to it again.

It's not a criticism directed at suengiu, okay? I just took the opportunity to highlight the chronic lack of ability to write something decent from too many people who go through MTV. Evanescence included. PS do they still do super-rock?

Where the hell is the melody in the commercial records from the 2000s? By the way, I prefer dark tones.

eeeehhhh...it's the existence of people like you who look ONLY AND EXCLUSIVELY AT THE MELODY that leads certain groups of losers who make a record and then nobody sees them again to win gold records... come on... it's sad... you really don't see beyond your own nose...

Cool, do you know klimt1918? I discovered them a few days ago. Italians. I read the review, but I would like some more opinions if anyone can provide them. Thanks anyway, and don’t get too distracted with the vibrators. If you have an Alfa Romeo 33 you can use that (it has a boxer engine). Cheers guys :-))

By the way, I’m not bothered by the "pop," "commercial" genre. What annoys me is that, as I see it, today's commercial-pop is music (music?) written with the ass. When I was born, well yes, the plastic decade, there were people who broke into the charts but had quality to sell, like I believe today only certain niche groups do, who unfortunately struggle more to emerge. Simple Minds up until 1985, Depeche Mode just to give an example. The Cure already seemed a bit more neglected to me "by nose." So let’s also look at the masses: Wham, Duran Duran from "Rio" (1982) onwards, Spandau Ballet after "Diamond" (1981), A-ha. For heaven's sake, pure chart-toppers. But the songs were decent, there was an idea of a melody, and the singers could consider themselves more or less worthy of the name. Today, who the hell is there?... oh right, the fake nu-metal. Bah. The truth is that, just like in automotive design, the best ideas have been gone for at least 10 years. I hope to be proven wrong by some badass label that gives space to truly badass musicians that I personally believe exist, BUT I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO LOOK. Betting on records has become challenging, you know?

No, I don’t use it. But it only takes an eccentric rotor to build it. (Now, I don’t want to give you lessons in applied mechanics, vibration theory, etc. etc.) BUT LET’S TALK ABOUT MUSIC. TELL ME TELL ME, is this album beautiful? Wonderful? Is it true that Maroon 5 are the only ones capable of composing amazing pieces that, compared to them, the entire new wave of 78-86 are just nursery rhymes? Is it true that David Gahan and Morrissey barely tickle this in terms of voice? And what about the videos...Forget about Corbijn’s directing!!! (But that girl seemed hot to me.)
