Damn, I missed this one. Anyway, "alternative" 85-94 is a nice bonus, unless you have the new versions of their LPs with the second CD of remixes and bonus b-sides. 4 to their euro-techno-pop production. I really wasn't expecting that, the review. PS-x sylvian: I also have the C3 with the Clarion car radio. But it has never ruined my CDs. Rather, every time I eject them, it gives them back to me really hot. The bass is pretty decent :-)

Exactly 20 years ago there was the first release. March 17, 1986.

Ah, an apple? I've always wondered why, before singing, he didn't swallow the excess saliva... :D Anyway, I don't know the album, come on. PS - Frankie H NRG doesn't bother me either, and I'm quite resistant to the genre.

So, we would only reach 4 stars by removing a couple of pieces that have nothing to do with it, "I want it all" and "nothing impossible," and including the b-sides. Anyway, the album feels rushed, maybe too much? 3.5 is fair. 3 for Exciter. I’m starting to feel the lack of a Wilder who would sort out the arrangements.

It's been a while since I listened. Sorry, Ege. :-)) Anyway, the first one is "more." Today I found quite a few records for 10 euros. I'm listening to "protection" by Massive Attack.

Anyway, I have never really liked disjointed texts too much.

Ah: the fact that I’m more inclined to listen to music that lasts 3 minutes and a half or that I technically don’t understand a damn thing about prog-metal doesn’t mean I’m wrong to judge a piece poorly just because it has time changes and lasts 12 minutes. I mean, it's the emotional side that's missing, in my opinion. I don’t get it. Instead, ā€œdisintegrationā€ (I already made this example months ago): 3-4 chords, no more? 8 minutes that could last twice as long. The song is there, in this case, you can FEEL it. Finally, I hope we don’t fall into the easy trap of saying things like ā€œ3-minute-and-a-half pop songs, what kind of music is that? so easy, what does it say?ā€ because there are 3 minutes and 3 minutes. Was punk and new wave not expressive? I don’t think they had suites to fill an entire side B. Let's try not to generalize. Just like I haven’t said that I think all of DT’s production is crap.

So, let's shift the focus to text analysis. It's clear that the tracks are overly stretched, not always functioning at their best. Sorry, but I have almost terrible memories associated with this album; let's talk about something else. About the lyrics. About the chosen images. And come on, there's plenty to discuss this time. This interests me, but I would prefer that those who post are "experts" in the field more than I am.
PS - Easy, in the DMs, I can agree with you when you say that the lyrics are not particularly original in terms of imagery. Nonetheless, I defend the depth of the themes and the allure of the sound. As for imagery, that’s exactly what I’m looking for, something "more." I can’t quite explain it, but "more": either I find it elsewhere, or I sort it out myself, as you’ve already noticed :-))) There’s more in the pipeline...
