The Death Of Anna Karina The Death Of Anna Karina
Voto:
Oh, by the way, Anna Karina has nothing to do with Tolstoy (if I’m not mistaken, that was Anna Karenina) but was the name of one of the actresses who worked with Jean-Luc Godard... for example in Pierrot le fou (in Italy: Il bandito delle undici).
Deftones Back To School EP
Voto:
I know, I know... and they were clones of the Red Hot Chili Peppers... so not exactly (actually, not at all) similar to the Korn... which means I'm right...
Deftones B-Sides And Rarities
Voto:
Hey wrecking ball, look, Deftones are not at all a product of commercialism... their musical genre (which has been wrongly categorized as nu metal... wrongly because it’s more post-hardcore than nu metal) has been around since 1988, even before Korn was formed (1993) or before nu metal became somewhat trendy (1997)... if you want to express a personal opinion about the album, that’s fine by me, but saying that Deftones are "sellouts"...

This reception gave me chills… excellent… just like the album is excellent.

Fear Factory Obsolete
Voto:
to be picky: Dino Cazares was the guitarist and Cristhian Wolbers the bassist.. the latter took Andrew Shives' place on bass from Demanufacture onwards, in fact Andrew only played on the debut "Soul of a New Machine".. and then you completely forgot to mention that this is a concept album.. anyway, great album, even though it's inferior to Demanufacture and Archetype.

I had the chance to listen to this CD one night while I was in my friend's car... I got so excited, almost as much as I got excited with Mr. Nice Guy.

Do you happen to know which metalcore band Johnny Santos ended up in? Anyway, great album.

It's not that I'm crazy about this album, but I want to make a couple of clarifications... 1) Grady Avenell was the singer of the amazing Will Haven, a great band. 2) Unless he’s really unlucky and lost another son, Max has only lost one, Dana Wells, who was actually his stepson. 3) It's spelled THRASH, not TRASH... Other than that, good review.
