Yes, the remake is out, I haven't seen it, and from what I've read, it's a piece of crap. Strange, I would have never guessed, usually these remakes are so necessary and well made, and of films that are now far gone in time. No, really, how much have they annoyed us with these remakes? The funny thing is that people apparently go to see them, without even thinking of watching the original. Even the remake of Wicker Man, damn it. I think the only one I'd save is the American version of The Ring...

Dark Water seems to be a big hit for many, but for me, it is definitely mediocre—well made but it didn't impact me too much. Instead, I find it strange that you didn't mention Kairo/Pulse, which, besides being one of the most chilling horrors ever (in the sense that it is a truly frightening film like very few others), also has a certain depth. As for Two Sisters, I should finally decide to watch it...

It shouldn't be scary<<< the intent was exactly that (and I imagine that for a believer the effect can be significant) >>> here we are talking about tension<<< yes, but you need to come to terms with yourself.

Um, but goodnight little flower I mentioned it precisely as an exception (for those years) Dylan-esque. As for Atlantis, I admit I really didn't know, and you're right. But I don't know, I also feel significant differences between the two, in those years. Even though I don't know Dylan that well (I've probably only heard about ten of his songs).

it's pretty boring for me too. It has its unhealthy atmosphere and the final part is memorable, but it also drags on for two thirds of the film. The historical importance... come on, what do you care about the historical importance if you have to watch the film?

In fact, after the phrase "reviews written by those who want to," there should be a parenthesis saying "but don't take it too seriously" (quote from Confucius). Bartle, what you say would be just fine, but inevitably for every lousy review, there will be someone who comments, and then someone else will say we shouldn’t comment, and another will write that they disagree, just like here. If it were up to me, I’d chop down a lot of garbage (there have even been reviews made with automatic programs), and I'm certainly not for the super-serious site; I welcome reviews like those of 'caz.' Since the site isn’t mine much, it doesn’t really affect me; I visit because I still find valuable things here, I appreciate various people who write and/or comment, but I suspect that many of the valid reviewers get fed up too seeing their carefully crafted reviews on a really worthy album, which they care about, going down the drain without anyone even writing "hang yourself" as it gets buried on the homepage under yet another unmissable masterpiece of slaughter-metal, that review by the twelve-year-old k scrv ks, and the rehabilitations of Toto Cutugno by people with a flair for drama, not to mention some other essential review of Octavarium or Piper of the Gates of Dawn because the reviewer is TRULY convinced they have something new to say, and then it’s not like "it disturbs anyone." In the end, for many, it slowly transitions from a fun site to a boring site.

I saw it, and what can I say, it disappointed me quite a bit. In my opinion, it doesn't really scare that much, and I found other Japanese things like Ju-on and Kairo (and also Blair Witch Project and Ring) to be much scarier. Well, fear is really subjective, but there are some remarkable inconsistencies. For example, while in Blair Witch Project the cameras were justifiable until the end, here in some scenes it seems really improbable that someone would actually be filming, like in the scene that takes place at his house. For me, it's a horror film that gets lost among the many; you can watch it, but I don't find anything more to it.

question: since it seems to me that it hasn't been distributed, is it available on the mule? And the subtitles?

150 euros? Come on, that's affordable for an escort. Maybe he's a bit older, though.
