Negazione Lo Spirito Continua
Voto:
I’ve only heard one song by Negazione, I don’t remember the title but at the end it sang something like "how much I hate you, how much I hate you." How do they compare to Raw Power? I also find the review heartfelt and engaging, but a bit brief...

In fact, I know little about lyric poetry too, and as you mention in the review, other forms tend to be preferred, especially because I unfortunately associate the image of lyric poetry with frivolity: then the few things I've heard so far have made me realize that I'm wrong, but every time I have to make an effort: I always think of the image of Valeria Marini entering the theater...
Tim Buckley Lorca

I think differently from you, Vale... even Buckley himself wasn't particularly enthusiastic about his first work, because, as he said, he was a kid who felt like entering an arcade, and he let himself be guided by his collaborators. Goodbye and Hello I like... of course, it really depends on personal taste, certainly more captivating as an album, very dreamy, but from Happy Sad to Starsailor, and in my opinion especially in Lorca, he absolutely didn't want to make an album that was simply "pleasant" or that lulled the listener; rather, he probably didn't care at all about the listeners, but rather about self-analysis, probably. And so the album turns out to be extremely heavier, but, over time, at least in my humble opinion, it offers much more. Of course, it's not the album for a party, nor one I would give to a girl...

I don’t have that kind of preferences... I lean towards the second hypothesis: I messed up. Maybe I didn’t fill out the review form, or I didn’t include the links... who knows, you figure it out...

I don't know, maybe there's a priority right for more "senior" users, but if that's not the case, this one is dated 4, mine is definitely earlier, unless I was just really drunk that evening...
