"the most successful attempt by Eddie Palmieri to merge excellent Salsa with equally outstanding Jazz" this phrase intrigues me, considering that the albums of Palmieri I know (and also from what I read) the more experimental and jazz-oriented ones should be from the period of Harlem River Music/Sentido/The Sun of Latin Music/Unfinished Masterpiece... but not knowing, I can feel it.
