What does "I can't tell him anything, they had great success" mean?

...well... Jonah, if nothing else (after almost thirty years) now I can truly indulge in the idea that Kimm Poor is "free" and I might even make a move myself...... (I've always loved her, intimately....and.....romantically. ..) ;-)

It's not easy to find reviews that, steeped in deep esteem and gratitude for the value of an artist's work, turn out to be almost lyrical. But Giona succeeds, and even in an exemplary way, I must say. For someone like him (and me...) who profoundly loves the figure and work of Hackett, it probably comes quite naturally, and his entire review radiates this. The work in question is one of the absolute peaks of his career for me. It doesn't matter much (though it obviously should be taken into account to a certain extent) which Hackett we're talking about, whether in an acoustic or electric context; those who cherish the English guitarist deeply, perhaps for thirty years or more, know that "Bay Of Kings," "Momentum," "Voyage Of The Acolyte," "Spectral Mornings," and this "A Midsummer....." (not to mention a long list of titles), are just some of the many pieces of an extraordinary compositional richness and quality. I can only thank this wonderful character (Giona, now, not Hackett!) once again for the extraordinary musicality, expertise, and love that have allowed him to write a memorable critical piece.
Al Di Meola World Sinfonia Heart of the Immigrants

What a great record this is, from a project that, as the reviewer states, has produced only three albums (and "The Grande Passion", the composition I mean, is truly sublime) but of great intensity and variety of expressions. Di Meola, despite having tarnished his reputation quite a bit with his hyper-fast tendencies, has managed in the last twenty years to rekindle a great heart within himself thanks to his love for tango and Latin American music, dedicating himself with greater commitment to the acoustic guitar. A must-listen.

I read, Truman, about your lovely review of this great, or rather remarkable work by the mustachioed man from Baltimore. And I like it. The review is the best band you’ve ever heard. E.... Forget about the time-wasters who make you lose time with their time-wasting antics..... .

Thank you Al3X. Now I can perhaps explain the meaning of a title like "Songs from the Big Chair" (at the level of childhood reminiscences) and... also the "flight" of the ideals of the seeds of love in youth... . It's a real shame, you will agree, that they then quarreled so harshly tearing apart the tears... to ward off the fear... .

@Al3X: thank you very much for the information regarding the origins of the group's name. Can you provide some further clarification about Artur Janov and his so-called "primal scream" therapies? The topic seems interesting, and I don't know anything about it... Thank you.

Hi Roby! I believe that when it comes to Curved Air, their first three albums are sufficient to listen to. However, this means that Jobson doesn’t play there, as at that time there was Darryl Way (who later formed the interesting "Wolf"). As for Jobson, though (a fantastic musician), I quietly suggest one of his fascinating works released by Private Music around twenty years ago, titled "Theme Of Secrets". It's electronic, New Age, and a lot of experimentation... and no violin.
