....because we are "the best," perhaps? :-DD. Always a great pleasure, old libertine, to hear from you; I notice with pleasure that you also come around here every now and then. ....So let's thank the good soul of Florian Fricke for bringing us together again after such a long time (thanks to this review) and let's sing together for him a.....Hosianna Mantra.... . A big hug!

Emerson, Lake & Palmer Brain Salad Surgery

I had the opportunity to check the recent double edition. I would say that if we exclude the purely instrumental part of "Karn Evil 9," which is certainly interesting, the most noteworthy aspect of this edition... is the captivating packaging. Of course, for a newcomer, this version can be ideal, but personally, I find it a bit superfluous. Thanks to Roccia, nonetheless, for the recommendation.
Sensation's Fix Fragments of light

I have always loved Sensations' Fix (....the apostrophe AFTER the "s"...) ever since, as a kid, I saw them in my city and was literally amazed by the show, the concept, the lights, and....the volume they played at. I suppose their most successful work is their second album "Portable Madness," but probably the absolute best, in an electronic sense, in my opinion, is that "Cold Nose" by Falsini that Supersoul mentioned in post no.7 (hello, Old Man!;-) ). If you're interested, you should be able to find it at "avaxhome/ws," also because it’s extremely rare and never released on CD. Recently I also "discovered" the group's fourth work "Boxes Paradise," which, after the uncertain "Finest Finger," reveals some decent ideas except for the weak and unconvincing vocal parts. For those who want to know more, Franco Falsini is easily reachable on Facebook... .

@Larrok: your adjective "sboroneggianti" made me smile a bit, because it’s true... But Di Meola back then was practically always like that! Luckily, in the subsequent acoustic phase, he toned down the ultra-technical aspect in favor of expressiveness, and personally, I find his works under the name "World Symphonia" or "Cielo e Terra," or even "Soaring Through a Dream" (very Metheny-esque) or "La Grande Passion" to be very warm and moving. Greetings to you.
Jim Henson Labyrinth

Well, Axel, let me suggest you another film along the same lines that might evoke similar feelings & emotions. It’s another Jim Henson production and shouldn't be too hard to find. It's called "Mirror Mask" and it's a couple of years old or so. If you trust me..... .
Fabrizio Bosso You've Changed

How annoying, argumentative, and verbose you are! Give yourself the wishes, fountain of knowledge.

Look, if you're excited about Bosso, good for you. But from here to wanting to persistently attack like you are doing, it frankly seems inappropriate, unnecessary, and also a bit annoying. I greet you. Best wishes.

Well, I don't know... on one hand, a reviewer who goes to great lengths praising this good trumpeter, and on the other hand, comments that dampen the enthusiasm. I confess I've heard little of Bosso, and even then, it was by chance, with Cammariere some time ago and in other productions. Let me say though, he didn't strike me as "A bit the Midas of Italian Jazz." Talented, yes, imaginative and inventive, with beautiful phrasing, but from this to go overboard with praise...
