Tom Zé Danç-Êh-Sá - Dança Dos Herdeiros Do Sacrifício

In my country, traditions and folk songs are fortunately still strong, and there is a folklore group that travels the world. Unfortunately, I haven't listened to the songs recorded by Lomax because, regarding Puglia (I’m from Monte Sant’Angelo, in Gargano), only those from Salento have been published. However, I saw that he came on August 25th, '54, and recorded quite a few songs. I’m sure that many of those, if not all, have been preserved. I hope to listen to them one day because it seems they are some of the very first recordings...

Well done, well done, I see you like Brazilian music and folk, good job, especially thanks for Alan Lomax, whom I discovered also came to my country!

whatever they say, I like it, and I didn't listen to it during my adolescence, I listened to it without knowing almost anything about them and I liked it.

"And who was the first cool jazz musician? Miles Davis? Gerry Mulligan? And the first to play free jazz? Ornette Coleman or Albert Ayler? And Cecil Taylor?" Well, it's easy: LENNIE TRISTANO, the first to do free jazz and cool jazz.

In my opinion, the best ones are the first and Stard'ust; the last one "tutto bene" is disappointing. Anyway, they're great, and Mara's voice is unique.

Well, it depends on the steaks, then if you look at their artistic peak I really think you should hear them.

they were lost in some dirty alley in Chicago... indeed, you can read about them on the Sub Pop website: "Their music demonstrates that they are not interested in carefully mapped journeys. They are interested in the search itself."
