I don’t know what "montone" means, but "pagliatone" generally means getting beaten up by multiple people.

"It seems to me, and I don't want to say nonsense, that he is also considered as the founder of gestural music, where there is also a reflection on the context, and for which it doesn't make sense to consider just the music. The provocation/reflection is genius; looking for value in the notes (in this case!) seems to me to count very little." I agree with you ajeje.

@pretazzio: I get it, you don’t like lmo, American Music Club isn’t for you, but the King Snake Roost NO! You can’t touch them by giving them a 2 just because you prefer those goats... no no no the next de-meeting will be in Bergamo and it will be called: "il pagliatone a pretazzo"..;-)

In fact, my comment was somewhat provocative, to talk about Tristan which is rarely discussed.

I agree, today it's incredibly easy to develop a musical culture, and even if someone is a bit down, if they have a bit of interest, they quickly get to know and listen to music. So it's normal that for the better quality records, which also hold value since they're still listened to over time, the difference in sales in recent years is significantly higher compared to the crap records. Another positive aspect is the possibility of listening to the album before purchasing it; it's unlikely that someone buys something completely unknown, and people tend to play it safe when they don't know what's on it. However, trying it out costs nothing, and one can decide wisely what to buy. In fact, today the variety of records owned is definitely greater... all of this is obviously positive.

it's the typical southern fear of the "tip of the iceberg" ;)
