To be honest, I think like ajeje, but I might change my mind after listening to the album (which I will do). Besides John Fahey, I also recommend Michael Hedges, both are fantastic!!

This album deserves a full 5 stars! I would have also mentioned New Musical Machine, which I think is one of the most beautiful shoegaze pieces ever written. Great choice anyway!
