Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds The Firstborn Is Dead

excellent review and written by god..I confess that I don't know the aforementioned album, only by name. I have The Good Son by Cave and that's it, plus the Birthday Party. I will make arrangements.

...I’ll add, among other things, that tink of SE is a Madonna album!!! theirs is not hardcore...it’s...an incredible mix of genres! you can listen to everything in that fantastic album! anyway, great job for remembering such an innovative yet obscure band! 5 just for that!

I checked anyway..the original order should have been pretty much what I described: Side A: 1) Twerpenstein 2) Untitled 3) Underwater Maintenance 4) Freddy Side B: 1) Monkey Boy 2) Potato Wine 3) Swinehead in the tenderloin 4) Sexy Money...in fact, before Monkey Boy you can hear the initial groove of the record =)

As for the order of the tracks... unfortunately, I have the terrible version that's going around on Soulseek! On eMule, believe it or not, my dear festwca, it’s even harder to find! Only Freddy is available... and you can hear the difference! Basically, my burned CD is all muffled, with the voice sounding suffocated, and when Freddy comes in (his being taken from another source gives it a sound a thousand times cleaner), it hits you like a ton of bricks! This is truly one of the most forgotten albums in history! And it’s a great shame!!!! But why don’t the disposable crap from the charts fall into oblivion?

No, it’s awesome, to tell the truth, it wasn’t festwca who recommended the album to me… it was my circle of connoisseur friends. However, I confess one thing: yesterday, while browsing through the reviews, I found a comment (from pretazzo, I believe) congratulating the aforementioned good festwca for his presentation. Curious, I went to see it… and there I found the cover of this album! That’s where my inspiration to write the review kicked in… =)

I thank everyone... little warning, pretazzo: I believe this album has been hard to find for a while... I don't even know if it exists on CD.. lately I've been abandoning the "do-it-yourself" policy too and I'm indulging in a frenzied buying spree of all the CDs I can find.. however, there are things that just aren't available on the market, and this album is one of them, unfortunately..
Advice, pretazzo: go for soulseek! They definitely have it there...
