there he is tim buckley..there he is my achilles' heel..there he is, an artist I simply cannot understand, probably the one I understand the least....I've listened to ALL his albums a million times..never has anything told me anything, a shiver, an emotion..nothing. Nothing at all. To me, he’s vastly overrated.

So... here’s my take: in my opinion, it’s not an out-of-this-world album. It’s a nice example of math rock, noise, emo-core, all the labels you want, but it doesn’t seem like a very transcendent record to me. Especially since I prefer the works of Rocket from the Crypt, which boasts none other than John Reis among its ranks! :-) Anyway, I reiterate excellent review, well done, priest! :)

an essential record without a doubt. Number 4 relates to my taste (I prefer many other hc albums, "Damaged," "Vs," "Generic," "Gi," "Los Angeles" I find superior), but the historical importance deserves a 5! Above all, as someone said, the voice is phenomenal! It sounds modified!
