It's crazy... I can't seem to find a single review by Scaruffi that doesn't throw in some nasty comment about the Beatles. For example, in "Harsh 70's reality" by the Dead C (which I absolutely love), our funny guy writes: "If there is a hell, Beatles fans will spend eternity listening to this album." Dude, I, who absolutely adore the Beatles, have worn that album out from listening to it... and frankly, it seems to me like an unprecedented lapse in style... come on!! But as Aldo says, "Do you remember any of their friends who beat you up when you were a kid??"

ah.. and I almost forgot "a salty dog" by Procol Harum!

too beautiful as a record. The lysergic atmospheres can be felt, breathed in... it feels like inhaling acid with every note... my personal theory that I’ll carry to my grave and that nobody will ever take away from me is that "tommy" would have never existed without this record... the masterpiece of masterpieces is "death" for me... anyway, the only album by Tomorrow is another great gem... and also the self-titled one by Spirit.

I recommend "a meditation mass" by the Germans yatha sidhra... I found a rare copy in a store in my town today. But if you want something unknown and beautiful, get the only album (with the same title) by Tomorrow.

"Zen Arcade" means "OF YOUTH"!!! It's the theme of the album, among other things..

Scaruffi is a pseudo-intellectual mythomaniac, as cultured as he is a complete jerk! According to him, the Beatles are comparable to the Spice Girls or BSB... read, read the pages of his website... he doesn't miss an opportunity to insult the baronets at every comma, that idiot!
The Spice Girls reached the same levels of stupidity as the Beatles (and the same popularity in English newspapers), but they never learned to write decent melodies. After 4 years of marriages, children, and divorces, they produced Forever (Virgin, 2000) and the sophisticated, "technological" rhythm and blues of Holler. Like the Beatles, the Spice Girls proved their worth through their side projects. Melanie C.'s Northern Star (1999) and Melanie B.'s Hot (2000) are as creative as Paul McCartney's solo works.
These are the words of a fool, in my opinion...

but what is it? the residentsite? :) I can't do without this album anymore... in fact, I'm putting it on now...
